Is Kodak going to survive?

In the press there is a lot on news that Kodak is in a lot of trouble. The famous brand has failed to move with the times. With the introduction of digital cameras Kodaks business was dependant on the old style 35mm films. In recent years it has produced digital cameras but without consumables being purchased, its core business has continued to drop. In recent years it has pushed its printer and with some success with keeping their Kodakink cartridges affordable it has taken a section of the home printer market but it seems that it has not secured enough of a market share to be able to survive.

We are aware that Kodak is in talks with looking to sell many of the patents that they have and this should secure the production of their cartridges but we would expect a shortage of cartridges in the short term while production is moved or restarted under new ownership should the worst happen.
